Georgia Institute of Technology
B.S. Electrical Engineering
I attended Georgia Tech from 2015 to 2020 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. My electives were initially focused on signal processing but shifted toward power systems near the end of my program.

Southern A&E
Electrical Engineering Intern
I worked full-time as an intern in the Fall 2018 semester. This served as a great opportunity to learn the fundamentals of building electrical systems -- power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, intercom, and data networks. It also introduced me to BIM and the Dynamo visual programming environment which I used to automate many of the day-to-day tasks I was assigned as an intern. I received an offer to return for part-time work in the following semesters and continued working with the firm until I graduated in December of 2020.

Southern A&E
Electrical Designer
& BIM Specialist
I received an offer from Southern A&E despite being mired in the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic and accepted. I accepted the role of Electrical Designer I & BIM Manager Intern with leadership hoping that I may one day take on the role of BIM Manager as I had already demonstrated a marked aptitude for the role.
I continued designing electrical systems and automating various aspects of the job using the API made available through pyRevit.
I was initially assigned HVAC renovation projects including replacement of mini-splits, wall-hung heat pumps, split systems, water source heat pumps, and variable refrigerant heat pumps. Over time, my design work gradually grew to encompass other systems in the building including lighting, power distribution, data networks, fire alarms, security systems, audio-visual systems, storm shelters and life safety/standby power systems comprised of inverters and generators.
Much of my work focused on renovation and new construction of K-12 education facilities.

Owner & Revit Add-In Developer
In late 2022, I envisioned a more efficient method of performing lighting calculations: a method which would make use of data in the BIM model as well as the nascient ray-tracing extensions made available to Nvidia graphics cards through the Vulkan API. Ray-tracing capable cards are set to become commonplace in the building design industry over the next few years.
Over the following months, I set about creating the business structure to market the software and began developing a proof-of-concept in earnest. After a few failed attempts in early 2023, I finally developed a workable proof-of-concept for real-time point-by-point illuminance calculations around October 2023.
The initial beta version of the add-in was released to a small audience of beta program participants on June 14th, 2024. Development of beta versions continues. If you would like to participate in the beta program, please contact me and I will ensure you have compatible hardware before sending you an installer and support files.
